Are 42lb/hr fuel injectors too big for me?
Hey guys i just got my car back together and im getting ready to get it tuned and i came across a deal on some brand new Ford Motorsports 42lb injectors for dirt cheap. I was just wondering if they would be too big for my setup, or should i sick with stock ones? heres my setup. thnx!
stock 2000 bottom end
arp rod bolts
243 ls6 heads hogged out and polished
7.4 c/m pushrods
prc springs
ms4 cam
victor jr style intake ported/polished
areomotive a1000 fuel pump
-10 feed line
-8 return
accufab 4500 style dominator TB
ls6 oil pump
kooks 1-7/8 longtubes
th400 transmission
yank 5000 rpm stall converter
12 bolt rear end with 4.11 gear
28x10.5 tires
Edit: i should add that i plan to put a fogger on the car too, and run at least a 200 shot.

You didn't really say that did you? Absolutely you can, if you try to go too big, you will never be able to scale them correctly for idle or low rpm driveability.
42's on the OP's setup are not really need, especially since he is going to use a wet shot.
If this was 20 years ago, most of the people on here would be the guys putting a 850 double pumper on a 350 automatic car because it must go faster with a bigger carb.
