Default Best fuel filter ?

Just wondering about fuel filters and always used the ac delcos but wonder if any better flowing filters.Seems like the the more filtration would equal less flow.or any to stay away from? Thanks

That's a good question - I run a filter from Canton Racing, but really don't know how it compares to a stock filter in terms of flow. Not sure if anyone has ever tested it actually...it uses a 1 micron filter, but no other specs are listed. Pretty nice looking, though, but very expensive.

The GN guys run a stock filter right into the nines. If you need more flow then that get a cartridge style unit from someone like SX or Aeromotive.I would think the latest design from a 2010 Vette would be the best factory unit you could get.Might be a waste of time if you are not in the 800+HP range.
Just my .02 cents.

I ran the one I could get at Autozone. Hell, I don't even know the name. Seems to be doing just fine for me. I change it yearly anyway.

shouldn't you be changing it after winter is over, when you are ready to take the car out ?

i hope the delcos fuel filters arent as poor quality as their oil filters. i have one on mine and recently saw what the inside of the oil filters look like. guess i might have to swap a wix on.

I have always used either Peterson's or XRP's filters.
