How do you know if your fuel pump is going out?

Default How do you know if your fuel pump is going out?

Everyonce and a while i hear a whining coming from back there. It doesnt happen at a particular time. the tank can be full or empty and still do it. Then it just goes away.

Is the whining while you're in the car driving it? Maybe it's your rear end?

they seem to always go out when they are plum full,lol atleast with my luck.

i think thats everybodys luck i left the petro station once and went home, left home later pulled out into an intersection and the car died after a minute of some strange idling, luckily i wasn far from home but of course the tank was full
