Exclamation FP at 27 psi!!!?

I just looked at my fp gauge under my hood. KOEO SHOULD sit at around 60psi, i turn the key and it went up to 30psi and dropped back to zero in a second. I cranked it up and its at 27 psi!!!! I couldn't figure out why it was throwing lean bank codes and taking forever to start until now. WTF. could it be my stock FP reg. in the tank?

well i know on a few cars with that problem. ive seen the vaccum tube at the back of the car coming out of the tank to crack. causing pressure bleed off. its just a shitty little plastic one it should run from the pump to to the filler neck where it vents to the atmosphere. might want to check that. that fuel pressure is quite low. check for any fuel leaks on the lines. they will be cleaner than other parts of the lines.

Is it a stock fuel pump? It sounds like what happend to me. I Had a walbro at the time..and the rubber fuel hose clamp had loosened and blew the line right off the pump. Which in return was causing a leak in the tank.

You might wish to consider why it popped off in the first place, and fix THAT problem. Just a thought.

the problem was that I couldnt get the line all the way up on the fitting, even now when I fixed it, even using silicone lube, motor oil, spit. i think line is not the right size but its the size that came with the pump and the size that fits on the pump fitting.

well if its the line im thinking off, plastic? isnt this line a "press fit" line i guess you would call it. heated shoved over the line and it takes that shape? my brain is a little fried from work but i beleive thats how its done. or why not try a hose clamp?
