Default Do I need to replace my fuel pump?

I have an 02 Z06 with a Magnacharger, 42 lbs injectors.

Recently I noticed a "skipping" sensation under heavy acceleration. During heavy acceleration my fuel pressure drops from 58#'s to 50 - 52 #'s.

I am assuming my fuel pump is on its last legs. I purchased the car with the magnacharger already installed so I am not sure it has an aftermarket pump.

The car has 25k miles, I would think the fuel filter is still good.

Any advice on tests to run against the pump or should I be worried about something else?

Sounds like you are out of pump. Pressure should be realtively stable.
I have the Vette pumps in Stock.

I figured out the problem thanks to my tuner Slowhawk. I told him the symptoms and he said it sounds like a bad plug or wire. Well I just got down swapping out the plugs and one of them had 3 hair line cracks. Anyway the problem is gone.
