Default Where to fit a fuel pressure regulator?

I have a "universal" liquid filled regulator. Can anyone tell me the best way to fit it to my LT1. All the original pipes look plastic and the workshop dont want to fit it, because of this. What mods are needed to the fuel rail? whats the best way and location to fit it? Pics and hints would be greatly appreciated, espesially for a LT1.

For an LT1 car, you are wasting significant time & money trying to adapt a "universal" regulator to your car. There are models made specifically for the LT1, that drop into place in a matter of 20minutes.
