Is ther any way to swap a complete plastic tank in a 98 and have it work correctly?

Default Is ther any way to swap a complete plastic tank in a 98 and have it work correctly?

From what I've read, the dash gauge will not read correctly. Is there a translator box or some other way to make it work? I'd imagine a newer cluster might not have other gauges read correctly.

Also, for anyone that has succesfully done this, did the newer tank plug and connect right up with the older lines and connectors.

This is for a 1998 f body using a tank from a 1999 to 2002.

I offer a conversion, including a level sensor for a direct fit kit on LT1 cars
For the 98, I can offer a plug-n-play kit to make it work.

In HP Tuners i've read you can do a segment swap to a newer fullsize van. Then the fuel gauge will operate properly. So if you know someone with tuning software you can have it done.
