a-1000 no return ??

Default a-1000 no return ??

I tried the search with no luck. do i need to run a return line with a a-1000 pump? for now i plan on keeping the stock rails (04gto) but not sure if i need to put another regulater with a return on it.

this car is pretty much track only. the longest trip it will see is a 20 minute trip to work now and then.

any input would be great

Personally I would suggest you return the pump & run one of my dual intank setups.

But...if you insist on keeping the pump, I would suggest you run a return line. Those pumps are not designed to be deadheaded.

I totally agree with th the above post.... The a1000 is a junk pump.... every one that I have worked on has acted up or overheated and hydrolocked.... a good dual in tank setup is easier to maintain and will support more hp and is more reliable. If you insist with keeping that pump you need to run an aftermarket regulator with a return line.

There are instruction on the Aeromotive site. They say to use a return style regulator.
