Default What is the stock fuel pressure

What is the factory fuel pressure in a 99 Camaro? I have a racetronix pump with hotwire kit, stock rails. I bought a set of injectors from FIC injectors a sponser here and was told they are 42# Bosch design III's and are rated at 43.5psi. Scaling in HPT so I wanna be sure I do it correctly.....

I'm curious on some real world measurements on the stock fuel system. Does the stock pressure actually read 58 at the rail or is that 58psi back near the regulator near the tank? I've also heard pressure drops off at wot. Anybody know?

They all vary slightly. Stock rail pressure is 58 at idle, & with a good performance 255 pump, you will see about 62 at idle & should drop back to 58 once a slight load is on the engine.

Depending on the power output, pressure will drop under full power directly related to the fuel flow because of line pressure drop & the regulator not being able to compensate properly due to the rear location.
