Default Injector ratings

Are injectors rated at the stock 58PSI fuel pressure? Lets say an injector is 42#'s for an LS1 is that at 58 PSI?

The answer is... "it depends"

Typically most injectors are rated at 43.5psi & this is preferred as a common point of reference.

Some companies are marketing "high flow" injectors that are just using a different published pressure rating. This has mislead a lot of people into buying a smaller injector that they intended.

Always verify the checking pressure to be sure.

FYI, changing pressure from 43.5 to 58psi will net a 15% increase in flow.
Just multiply or divide by 1.15 to get your new values.
