do i need a set of inj ?
im getting ready to put together my 98 z28 .. but im sure im going to need inj .
its a forged 347 built for the bottle and has a set of prc 2.5 heads and a ms4 cam fast 90/90 and a nitrous outlet 90mm plate kit on it . will only be spraying 175-200 trying to keep the motor alaive for as long as possible .
as for fuel i have a racetronix pump aqnd hot wire kit ..
im aming for 450rwhp on the motor and 600-650 on the bottle . the enigine should be able to handle 250-300 worth of nitrous but im going to take it easy for the time being .
so .. what king of inj should i step up to ? 36lb? 42? would like to buy them before i get it tuned so im not held up on it .
thanks !!

Personally, I would stay far, far away from modded injectors. Purchase injectors that were designed correctly from the start. I have used the Lucas/Delphi disc injectors for years with excellent success. Lonnies Performance has them in stock for a very competitive price, and is an excellent sponsor/vendor to deal with.

Remember your fuel system runs at 4 bar, so 36 lb/hr @ 3 bar is approximately 41 lb/hr @ 4 bar. The nitrous system is a wet kit, so it's taking care of fueling for its additional power. The injectors only need to be large enough to properly fuel the engine. If you were running a dry system, than nitrous system size would be considered in the fuel injector sizing calculation.
41 lb/hr @ 4 bar is plenty of fuel for 450 RWHP.

Get them from Jon at FIC. They stand behind there products. Screw the guy who said don't buy modded injectors, these work great.
I have a set that is 34 lb @ 3 bar which is 39 lb @ 4 bar. You only need to change the IFR table with these because the base injector is used on 2001-2002 LS1 and LS6 injectors so the pulse widths and voltages are all stock GM. Simple to tune.

Call them and tell them what you have, your horsepower (be realistic) and they will set you up.
