Default shrader valve fitting

anyone know where to get a shraeder valve fitting that goes into 1/8th npt? i dont want the t fitting that speed inc sells, and dont want an open 4an fitting with a cap, just a normal fitting so i have a test port.

I can set you up with something for that too.it is a -4 fitting with a cap not a shrader though. Just bleed pressure off uncap and hook up your gauge hose.

I bought a bag of sweat-on Schraders off eBay and
ran one through a pipe die. Don't remember if it was
1/8, or 1/4 that I used.

You need an 1/8th npt male with a shraeder valve on the other end? I am sure if you go to a local hose supply shop they will be able to get you set up.

do you mean the valve itself that you can unscrew from the valve? because my rail is actually missing that piece

no, i want to have a shraeder test port on aftermarket rails just like the stock rail has. if i could get the valve and it screws into an 1/8npt port, that would be nice.

It might help if you also named the sex of each end, M or F.
It sounds to me like you want a Female 1/8 NPT to screw onto a fitting on your Fast rail, and a male 1/4 NPT (I think that is correct for the stock schrader valve fitting) with a Schrader valve installed, so that you can just screw on a hand-held fuel pressure gauge.
Would that be correct?

i want something like a -4an to 1/8th npt that does have a shrader inside it, otherwise i would just do the fitting and cap.

This is the exact thing I want to do. Found this thread while searching, so don't give me crap for reviving an old thread.

I'm thinking of drilling and tapping the plug at the end of the fuel rail...
https://www.holley.com/products/plum...ts/AT581406ERL

and placing either this Schrader valve - Fuel Injection rated 1/8 MNPT...
http://www.dieselorings.com/1999-200...-1-8-mnpt.html

or this p/n 8025602293
https://www.schraderinternational.co..._05262015.ashx

The second one is listed as a diagnostic fitting assembly, fuel diagnostic fitting used on GM vehicles, Thread: 5/16-18 UNC-2A. My question is, what would do the sealing for the second type of fitting? Wouldn't you need an o-ring or something for the straight threads? What does GM use ?
