Default Which Fuel Injectors?

I am doing the finishing touches on my LS1/T-56 RX-7 project and am concerned on what fuel injectors I should be using with the cam I am running.

2002 LS1 w/11k miles with factory everything except for an MS3 cam and the supporting modifications. I will either keep running that or swap it out for a GMPP ASA cam. For right now the car will just be running on an LS1 intake and factory manifolds to get it on the road...But anyway, what would be good injectors? What are factory...26? LS6 injectors=28 right?

I also have a NIB Walbro 255lph pump...Unsure if I want to run it on the SS or if it'll be worth my time to put it in the RX-7 being cam-only.

Thanks for your advice!

Your factory are the 28#ers and should be fine for just a cam. Not sure what pump is in the RX7 but I would add the pump to be safe.

if u have a 99-2000 motor in the rx7 then its a 26lb injector the rest of the ls1 years are 28lb. i would sugest you run the ford red tops, they are a direct fit and are very affordable. and it be about a 35lb injector running on 58 psi. i think ford rated them at 29psi i could be wrong.

If you have the stock injectors, then you will be fine. If you are going to go out and buy fuel injectors, I say get some 42lbers. Leave yourself some room to grow. No need to buy injectors twice.
