Question What is the best injectors?

What will be the best brand injector. A lot of people around here says that the FAST ones are the best to go with. So what do you all think? Also I will be going with 80 pound injectors and was wondering if that would be to big. My mods will not be done all at once.

First will be the fuel set up. Which will be 2 pumps in the tank. #8 feed line and use the old feedline as the return. Then I will be installing a sts turbo set up. Turbo will be a gt70. Going to strock it 408. And a 100hp shot of nitrous. That will be all for now. So will 80 pounders be to much and hurt the proformance until I get the rest of my mods done?

the best injector is the one that fits your application. Fast does not make fuel injectors. Their 80's are the same as the ones everyone else sells. Just different packaging. Their injectors are made by Bosch, Siemens or SMP. Is the nitrous a dry kit or wet. How much CHP are you looking to make? once you know this then get the right size injector at the right price!

These guys know what they are talking about. I buy all my injectors threw them and they have never lead me wrong.

I am running 80# injectors in my 408, no problems with DD it, but I do my own tuning. I think most of the problems with the larger injectors are realy tune related.

I am hoping for 800+ hp. The nitrous kit is a wet kit.

since the nitrous is wet, it is out of the injector equation. However the 80 will support 1050 easily at the crank. You can get away with 73's. Don't forget these injectors are rated at 43.5 psi.. you are running 58psi. So the 80 is really a 90 in your rail. You can run 73's and have no problem. The 80 will give you some headroom for future mods. Tuning these is relatively simple, since all the data is available. The 80's are on sale for 389 flow matched. including shipping// sale end tomorrow

I just read what your plan is. Sounds very close to my build. I am running a rear mounted GT-88 on my built 408. I do not have a STS kit, did it myself for a lot less money. 800 rwhp should not be a problem for a FI 408 without nitrous. I am just guesing but I bet the 80# Siemens will be what you will need. Let me know how your build progresses.
