I can't believe I have to post this...
I am a european car guy. Working on the wifes car, 1999 Pontiac Firebird (with the 3.8). I think the fuel pump is dead.
I don't have 12V at my fuel pump -- I have 5V on the purple wire for the sender.
I cut the trap door already to test. I have swapped relays. For the life of me I cannot find the fuse. I have looked in the front engine fuse box, I looked in the interior fuse box (door inside) and even took the front panels down on the front inside of the dash below the steering wheel to look. Can't find it anywhere. Please help.
Thanks
Trent

fuel pump fuse is in the engine compartment. I have a v8 so I can't say for sure where. try the left front of the engine compartment, there should be 2 black boxes about 4x4 inches

It isn't in there unless it's called something different. The relay is there. I have searched up and down these forums.

fuel pump fuse is in underhood electical center 1. the fuel pump relay is in underhood electrical center 2. check power to fp fuse and should be 12v. if good remove relay and manually jump fuel pump relay terminals 30 and 87 with a fused jumper wire. should have 12v to gray wire at tank. if power is good you havea relay or a signal problem. n ext check for voltage at terminal 85 with key on engine off. check for ground to terminal 86 with key on engine off. go throught these steps and you will find the problem. shoot me a message if you have any questions
