Default Will my -6 fuel line hold me back?

Well my motor has about 1000 miles on it so it's time for a tune. The build is a 370, front mount tc78, 80lb injectors, twin walbros, and a mild turbo cam. Looking to go to 15psi. Right now it has a -6 feed line with truck fuel rails. Will the -6 feed be ok or should I upgade to -8? The truck rails have a 3/8" inlet. Any advice/comments would be appreciated... Thanks

I had the factory feed on mine with a -6 return. At 808RWHP with the auto it was basically maxxed. Some have gone to 1000RWHP with the stock feed but it isn't great on the fuel system. I'd go with a -8 if you're going for anything over 700RWHP.

Having tested flow thru a -6 line, I'd say it will be fine.

No harm in going bigger though.

Ya but then its another $50 in fittings. I know it's only like $100-$150 but if I am safe with the -6 I can put that $100 somewhere else.

The price difference between -8 and -6 for identical routes etc shouldnt be that great.

Dual walbros.

I already had the -6 line in since I first built the truck. I'm thinking I should just go -8 and not have to worry about it...

heck no... I love braided steel line. It is so easy to use and change and the fittings can be found at alot of auto parts stores local if i need them right away. I havent tried nylon braided line though. Im happy now so im not going to change.

thanks for all the responses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For $100 better safe than sorry. It is easier on your pumps too.

Just as safe as the braided. Once you use it you wont want to go back

X2. You Can Get Away With The -6 But Like Mentioned It Would Make It Easier On Your Pumps If You Bumped It Up To The -8. Especially If Your Goin Over 700HP
