inline fuel filter: micron or screen type?

Default inline fuel filter: micron or screen type?

which in-line filter is best? screen type? or aluminum micron?

Filters are rated in microns. Be it alum, stainless, bronze, paper, you choose by micron size and flow rating. Choice can be influenced by utility. Cleanable or throw away.
Before the pump, I use 40 micron.. after I use 10.
Some use as big as 100 before.

o, i am planning on putting it in the engine bay right before the fuel rails. i got new braided lines to go with my fails fuel rails and while im cutting and putting connectors on i wanna have everything ready. which do u think would be best for right before the fuel rails??

I'd use a 10 micron w/ male AN fittings on the ends. Several choices there. For ez maintenence, I'd suggest stainless elements. I'd suggest contacting 1 of the board sponsors. I have my own source, but don't need the grief should I mention them, and they not be a "sponsor"...

Typically you will not find a 10 micron stainless element.

I have 10 micron filters in stock.
