Default What filter are you using on your return style setup?

Just curious to see what kind of fuel filters you guys are using on your street car that has a return system? I got a little 40 micron TrickFlow filter but I don't think it's going to be enough for a street car.

I am interested in this as well. I think I remember hearing you should be running between a 10/12 micron for street use. The con to this is I only remember seeing filters that small in paper trim, no metal screen ones.

I just found one in a 10 micron with -8 AN fittings but I'd rather not to buy another filter if I don't need it.

Also, what are yall using to secure the lines under the car?

I know people that used industrial style zip ties with large rubber washers to insulate from the frame. It worked quite well but I was looking at metal clasps with rubber inside and using metal screws. I might set it up with the zipties first to make sure its plumbed properly and im happy with it. Can you pm me the info on the filter? Is it the metal screen style or the paper filter?

That should only be used as a pre filter.

You sure about that? From what I understand, the 10 micron should be used as your main filer and the 100 is for a pre-pump filter.

Not true, most people run a 10 micron as their after pump filter and 40-100 micron as a pre-filter. I however only run a 40 micron but am using dual walbros which have socks. i need to switch to a 10 micron though. I ordered the wrong one and have the same trick flow one you have.
