Default Do I need to upgrade my fuel rails? Injectors 60 vs 83's

I'm really going back and forth on this. I dont really want to spend the money, but I'm right on the line. I have a built 370 ls2, with 76mm turbo 14.5 lb spring.

The 60# injectors are very easy to come by used for a good price, the 83# siemens i'd have to buy new.

As far as the fuel rails, I had aftermarket ones (Professional products) They were absolute garbage causing #8 cylinder to depressurize and spray fuel through my engine bay. I bought the stock ls2 fuel rails (they have the clips so it was a secure feeling).

can your computer run the 83's?

i really like the mototron 60's. they can handle just about as much as the 76 can throw at it. i believe new era performance has them for $350 NEW.

The 83s are similar to the 60s, and Hi-Z (they will work with no driver). They actually flow about 93.5# at our rail pressure.

I think the 60s would work though... you made like 852-ish rwhp on 60s and methanol, right David?

Any opinions on the fuel rails? They are ls2 rails, not sure if it makes a difference vs ls1

If I buy new injectors i'm getting 80's. There's no reason not to spend the extra 50 bucks.

With a 76mm and the amount of power you can possibly make with it I would opt for the 83s because you won't have to run the fuel pressure sky high to do it. Less pressure makes for a happier fuel pump, etc. Another thing for me is that I don't do used injectors.
