There was a problem. It has since been fixed. You should not have been able to find two with the same issue.
Tell us about your setup. The wiring harness is key to avoiding issues, do you have one?
Let us know.

There is more than a bad production run.
Walbro did have an issue with a certain model 255 pump, but not all.
There quite a few variations in circulation.

There are also counterfeit pumps (even with Walbro stamps) out there that have less than a spectacular reputation.

Since you are in Canada, I suggest you contact Racetronix directly.

i have a walbro 255 and im having issues too. When i turn the key ON i have only 15 psi at the rail and it goes to zero in about ten seconds. if i turn the key like 3 times in a row il have 55-60 psi but it drops very fast. could this be a pump problem or possibly the regulator or internal fuel leak in tank?? And btw i have a 2000 z28 ls1

I am having issues with a walbro 255 I just put in my truck. Fuel pressure is dropping to zero when I excelerate, after running for a little wile. The pump is not hot and if I shut the truck off for a minute it runs normal. Anyone think it may be a problematic pump?
