I might have one going bad. Curious if anyone has had one fail before. Injector is only 3 years old.

an injector is a mechanical devise, anything can fail, anytime without warning

Especially, race parts that are driven hard. But, I'm asking to see if there is a trend with this size and brand to see if I should replace one or replace 8 with a different brand. You sell injectors.....what have you seen?

after 30yrs I have seen every type and every size of injector fail.. Thats why we test every injector we sell. I see new ones out of the box work like crap, But, I must tell you that the least problems are with BOSCH injectors,

What are you using for filters? Have you swapped it for a nearby injector to see if the problem follows the injector or stays with the cylinder?

It is possible to fail ,but unlikely. If it was impacted with anything, starved of fuel, had too much water running through it or was in an unsually hot engine bay those could all attribute to it's failure.

The standard injectors are pretty great so, but it's not impossible. Send them to someone and make sure they test it with a scope

I'm going to bench test it tomorrow. I run dual filters 10 and 100M.

I personally have only had one injector failure on a car. It was a 1000cc RC injector on a Subaru after a little over a year.

It actually started leaking fuel out the wiring connections !!!!

Never again will I use one of their injectors.

Well, the injector is dead. Ohms out fine but will not fire. Zero debris. New injector fired right up.

Think I'll send it to Kinsler for an autopsy.
