nasty fuel rails on a lsxr 102mm intake?
Hey guys, i found out last night (the hard way) that my LS1 fuel rails won't work on my new LSXR intake. i've got the billet rails that came with my Nasty Stg. 2 street fuel system.
I know now that you can only use OEM LS2 rails OR billet rails that FAST hasn't released yet on the 102. well, my 454 "might" require more fuel than a factory LS2 rail can deliver, so i was wondering if the Nasty LS2 rails would work on my intake? anybody know?
thanks,
Ben

Which 102mm intake are you using? May I assume you are using cathedral 102mm version of the intake
Seeing how that the LS2/LS3 fuel rail is a bolt on with LS2 injectors, after looking at Nasty performance website and some pictures here on LS1tech your Nasty LS2 fuel rails look to bolt into the same location. with different fuel hose/line and billet rails, why wouldn't it be any different?
What injectors are you running?
Since you already have the Fuel rails go out and mock-it-up, see how it fits.
FAST is just using their current universal billet rails, they are putting a package together with the correct adaptors etc... to run the LS1 injectors
well thats what the FAST Tech guy told me anyways.

the problem with my LS1 rails is the holes don't line up AT ALL with the mounting bosses on the intake. i DID mock it up, that's why i posted this.
i'm using LS1 style 60# Mototron injectors and it is the cathedral intake, freshly ported from Tony Mamo.
The intake requires using the FAST billet rails, which aren't available right now, and they are NOT the universal rails that people are currently running, OR you use an OEM style LS2 rail, which i don't believe will supply my 454 with enough fuel. You can still use LS1 injectors, you just have to use spacers on the rail with the LS2 OEM style rail. The FAST rails are bolt on and go.
