Fuel Systems for turbo setup?
What fuel systems is everyone running with their turbo setups?
Im building a DIY truck manifold kit, 6psi, stock ls1, stock everything pretty much.
Looking for advice on injector size, size and number of fuel pumps, and setups.
Part names are helpful.
Part numbers are phenomenal.
I'm hearing two things so far.
1.) Use a single 255 with a hotwire kit, which wont allow much room to grow but would be fine for now
2.) use twins, and have room to grow.
Either way, I'm looking to make around 500rwhp on 6psi. Probably going to LS9 cam it, stud it, MLS Headgaskets... you know.
Whats the opinions fellas?

What he said - he's probably done it already too.
The LS9 cam is not a good choice.
1. it's designed for LS9 square port big valve heads.
2. It has way to much conventional split duration. - because of #1.
Z06 cam will do what you want and many people have used it.

Okay. Im not gonna even mess with ya. When multiple options plop down in front of me, I'm usually letting my wallet do the deciding.
Single Walbro system = ???$
Dual Walbro system = ???$
Racetronix system = ???$
And please, I wont hold you to the exact dollar amount, just looking for a ballpark on prices, even if you got something from a diff site or whatever, just looking for the money idea.

Stay low boost on stock ls1 especially with stock heads and more importantly don't run too much timing. 12 max is likely about right if you don't lower compression and keep afr around 11.0 or so not much leaner. And be prepared for new engine at any time if you see any detonation factory pistons are crap for FI.
Anyway as everyone has said keep it simple with single racetronix pump and plug and play harness. 60 pound injectors are easy to tune as well.
If you are going to go higher power sooner rather that later than sure a twin pump setup like Lonnies is better and if you go to twin pumps then would run bigger lines, bigger rails ,adjustable reg then you might need 80s or low impedence if you change out/forge up engine and go for big power. 80s are not that easy to tune. Low impedence are easier on stock ecu.
