Default stock pump limits

this question may be beat to death but im in a bind and need to know before i go dicking with swappin the pump. ive got a 99 a4 with some ebay longtubes and stock 5.3 heads with the stock intake and everything and when it got tuned it made 331/340 and ive since put a fogger on it and im not so much worried about injectors because its a wet kit as i am the fuel pump not being man enough to keep pressure up to support much over a 100shot

. im just wondering where ill be pushing my limits on the pump because i plan on a deatschwerks pump when its time to do it as ive heard nothing but good things and the tuning shop i use loves them and theyre local. im just wondering if i should go ahead and do the pump swap or if itll be fine for a little while

I have this same problem now.....I did all the data logging and the stock pump didn't hold 100 shot.. My car was leaning out on the top end very bad.

I'm cam only with 100 wet shot.

My car has been faster with more weight but, with the 100+ it was outside two weeks ago it slowed me down alot.

I'm now going with a stand alone fuel cell for my system. And also getting a Racetronix 255 Fuel pump

This was two weeks ago. race weight 3340 with me in it

Go ahead and swap the pump. Definetly better to be safe than sorry.

This x2

I tried going without and logs showed your stock pump can't support it.

Depending what your goals are for the car you can either swap pumps or go with a dedicated fuel system for the nitrous.

I prefer racetronix pumps and a hotwire kit. Pretty inexpensive and will handle any motor you decide to build.

The dedicated while more expensive, offer a lot of positives. Higher power, safety, easier to install, no lean spikes etc.

We have a few fueling options if your interested.
