Ls3 fuel system?
I have been reading a few posts on here on fuel systems for a LS3 and there is a lot of opinions but all in good. I have a brand new crate LS3/430 hp that I am putting in my 1964 IMPALA. I have found a stainless fuel tank for fuel injection but it comes with a pump and sending unit. I see guys say to use a 255 walbro pump and a vette filter/reg. Is this right? Also ive seen talks of making it a return system since it is a returnless system. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. THANK YOU

Well the tank is from classic industries which I believe is a Ricks tank. On Ricks site it says it comes with 51 PSI with 41 GPH for 450 HP but from what I have read it should be at constant 60 PSI with min 40 GPH. Is this right? I am also wondering about how to plumb my lines. I am running all SS hard/flex lines but nee to know where to plumb them. Thanks a lot OG

The ricks tank comes with a pump. Run a short line from the tank (-6 or -8) to an adjustable pressure regulator like an A1000, and run a -6 return to the tank from the bottom of the regulator. The other line goes to the fuel rail. You can also feed the rails directly from the pump and put the return up by the rails.

we use the Corvette filter/regulator on alot of swap setup it is a great system. I have complete kits to plumb everything you need from tank to the new rails. Give me a call I will help you get what you need.

The VaporWorx RetroWorx kit does include a recessed tray but it is intended to be used to modify a custom tank. It is not intended to be used with a stock tank.
