Fuel pump set up
Ok, I have spent about two weeks searching and searching trying to find some opinions on fuel pumps. Here is what I am trying to do. I am looking at setting up a 800 FHP fuel system on E85. I have come up with two fuel pump options.
Option #1
Dual Walbro 255 pumps intank
Modified sending unit with -08 feed -06 return.
Option #2
Dual bosch 044 external pumps
Sump tank with -10 feed to the pumps and then -08 to the front of the car and to the regulator.
Both secondary pumps would be on a hobs switch. The cheapest option is option one but I am looking long term on this. Any one know what the limits are on these two options? Thanks

Mind if I add a 3rd option?
Dual DW301 pumps intank, it will be a similar install to the W255.
Same -8 feed and -6 return.
Our pumps are quiet, flow more than the Walbros, are E85 compatible and come with a 3-year warranty. As well as DW customer service.
Also, depending your setup (N/A, Nitrous, FI?), our pumps outflow the 044 pumps in the lower pressure ranges.

Not mad at all. I kind of like the option of keeping the fuel pumps in tank. Keeps them cool and less noise. I am using this on a turbo ls engine. What do you think would max hp these pumps could handle. I just don't want to be at 90 to 100 percent duty cycle on the pumps. Rather over build then under build.

We've had a few dual in-tank installs, domestic and import since the introduction of the DW301.
There is a thread I posted about a month ago about a local C5 Turbo putting down 1078whp on E85 using a pair of our pumps in tank. I think 800fhp would be well within our pump's range.
