That is to connect your new fuel rails to your stock fuel feed line. You will also need fittings and hose for the crossover line and from your new rails to that 6an to 3/8, if you don't already have those items.

Read above, That is the fitting that goes into your fuel rail to connect to -6 hose.. If u are confused because it gets tight is because the fuel rail is a pipe thread and is tapered so it gets tight and seals.. Be sure to use plenty of Anti-Seize..

oh ok then, because only like 2 threads go in nicely then it seems like if the thread is stripping.when i pulled the fitting out the thread seem like if wanted to strip, but ill use enough anti-seize.thank you guys for the help.hope it works.

No prob man, it will work done it plenty with edelbrock rails with no problems.. You may want to thread it in and back it out a little then thread it in a little and then back out a little.. Just keep doing that till you get it sunk in and tight and u will be fine! A pipe thread taper's so it will feel tight like stripping if it is not tapped deep enough or ur fitting is not cut at 75% thread depth.. U have to remember u are dealing with 2 different people making the threads between edlebrock and whoever made the fitting so thread depth will vary!
