Default upgrading part of fuel line from -8 to -10

i think i need some extra fuel flow on my turbo car. right now
i have a -10 line from tank to pump. a filter is screwed directly in to the pump. then i have a 3 foot piece of -8 to the next fuel filter. then its -8 to a Y junction, then -8 to each rail. then from each rail its -8 to my fuel pressure regulator and then -8 back to the tank.

i was thinking about replacing the -8 line from the 2nd filter to the Y junction with -10 and using a -8 to -10 adapter to hook it to the Y and the filter

im seing slightly high injector duty cycles and was thinking of ideas. i have a magnafuel 4301 pump and 103lb injectors

The flow is still going to be controlled by the smallest part of the system. [-8].
How much FWHP are you making?

A -8 line will easily feed more than your injectors can flow.

We have done 1100rwhp on a -8 line without problem.

Before you spend a lot of money on new lines, you may want to look at other fuel issues.

Since I do not know what fuel pressure you are running, how fast the car is or any dyno info, it is hard to tell.

How does your fuel pressure react? Does it continue to climb with boost, hold steady, or start dropping off at upper RPM's. This will help me determine pump capacity.

At 660rwhp you should have no problems.

What is your duty cycle & what is your air/fuel ratio?

I also have a meth kit.
I haven't watched fuel psi yet.
dc is about 80% and a/f is high 10s low 11s showing on my wideband. 14lbs

I plan on another 10lbs boost

Unless you are having a pressure issue, there is no need to alter the lines.

Remember the difference between a mid 10:1 & mid 11:1 air fuel ratio is you are using 10% more fuel If you get your mixture straightened out in the mid 11's, your duty cycle will go down.

Tuning is meaningless unless you know your fuel supply is working properly.
You should not have even went full throttle without first watching your fuel pressure gauge.

I would first set fuel pressure to 43psi (vac line off) & car running.
Connect line & then start tuning, watching your pressure to be sure it follows your boost. At 14# boost it should then go to 57psi.

Does it reach a poing when the fuel regulator is not a 1-1 ratio?
1/4 mile pass 14lbs I looked at the log and its at 77% average.

What hp is a magnafuel 4301 good for?

Possibly if the pump cannot keep up, or if the regulator is bad.

The regulator is a magnafuel its there smaller one.
Once I went to start the car and it wouldent build fuel pressure. Then all of a sudden it was fine.

Could my fuel reg be to small? For referance I did have rc 750cc's and a base of 70psi I saw over 100% dc on a mild 14lb tune
