can you attach you filters to you fuel pump?

Default can you attach you filters to you fuel pump?

i am hearing diff things. can you hook you filters to your inline pump, some people say yes and some others say that the vibrations will rip you pump apart. i have the magnafuel 750 inline flow thru pump. figured i would get some answers, maybe some help from some sponcers that do fuel systems??

thanks so much need to finish my fuel system

When my car had an a1000 pump it had an aeromotive filter attached to the pump on the inlet side. My s10 had a bg 400 with the bg filter on the inlet side. Alot of setups have the filter on the inlet side. I don't think it will hurt anything.

Most inline setups use a coarse pre filter and fine post filter

OP, just make sure it is all secured properly, and you won't have a problem. A heavy filter should be supported by more than just a coupler to the fuel pump, of course. You shouldn't have any issues mounting it directly to the pump.
