Default where is the Fuel tank pressure sensor located on a 1997 camaro V6?

My friend is getting 0300 codes and 1441 and thinks his fuel tank pressure sensor is going out. From what i can tell, it looks like its actually on the tank? this particular car had a fuel pump installed several months ago after sitting for a long period of time.

is the fuel pressure switch the device in this pic with the electrical connector on it?

this is the part i believe

and it looks like it screws into the tank?
