How much rwhp on 98 camaro injectors?

Default How much rwhp on 98 camaro injectors?

Car is a 6 spd making around 430rwhp. Wondering if I need to upgrade before I get it retuned. Thanks

It would be a great idea.

I just did heads/cam and mine are at 104% duty cycle by 5200rpm. They were hitting 92-94% at 6500rpm when I was cam only with a smaller cam.

You don't want to run them over 80% if you want them to last. I've heard anything over 92% costs you HP.

I would look for some 38-42# injectors. Do not put them in until the car is at the shop to be tuned or you will wash the cyl walls with fuel and risk damage.

FWIW, I wouldn't go over a 36lb injector, IMO, if you're running a N/A motor.
