Default What to do.. turbo high HP..

Well the reason Im unsure what to do is I already got a areomotive a1000 pump with filter and boost regulator to run in a sump setup, BUT things have changed, I had a 87 Notch stang with LS6 in it that i was gonna put a sump on the metal tank. Well I traded that car for a 01 WS6. Now im have a plastic tank. So what should i do here? Sell my pump? Get twins? get a metal tank?

Lil info on my build, its gonna be on a lq4 with 80mm t4 comp turbo, 78# injectors, 100% meth. Aiming for 1000hp with 6 speed. High boost.

If it's driven on the street a lot, sell the A1000. They don't like a lot of continuous duty on the street, they tend to overheat. Go with dual intank deatchwerks or walbros.

I highly doubt those 78# injs combined with 100% meth are going to support 1000HP...

I drove mine around for 2 years in my subaru with no problems. The reason they usually overheat is because they end up getting starved of fuel.

I used a walbro pump to fill a surge tank then used the a1000 to pull from the surge tank.

if you want quiet do a couple bosch 044's, if you dont mind a little noise the a1000 will be fine on the street. i run a weldon 2035(roughly 2k hp pump) on the street thats **** loud but i havent had a issue running it on 70 mile one way trips

Yea im not worried about the a1000 on street its not a DD car its like a once a week car on a nice day. but also was looking into a1000 street use and found this makes me feel better about it... http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/gen...treet-use.html

Just still torn do i wanna change tanks to run sump ... basically i need to look into the price of 2 pumps vs new tank with sump. Since i already have the a1000.
