dbc throttlebody, dbw intake manifold. Hey guys, this may be a dumb question, but can I use an older dbc throttle body on my 04 5.3L? I really don't want to swap out intakes. Anyone suggest a good throttle cable bracket? It's going in a 98 s10.

you have to use a 4 bolt intake with a 4 bolt TB and a 3 bolt intake with a 3 bolt TB. They make adaptors off ebay but their $100, you can just buy a 4 bolt intake for that. Plus the ECM is for a DBW throttle body on a 04. So you will have to switch those out to. When I put my built 5.3 in my zr2 (s10) I modified the 4.3 one to work. Since I upgraded and redid the motor with many goodies I am having a billet one made. I can post pics when I get it.
