General fuel pump question

I had to remove the fuel pump to pump fuel out of the tank temporarily. Could the fuel pump be reinstalled with the existing gasket?

Typically yes. They are reusable unless cracked or brittle in any way.
Use your own judgement depending on the condition of yours.
