Default Fuel retun line on a blow thru setup

I had a sump tank welded on my stock fuel tank. It has two inlets, one goes to my A1000 and the other one is plugged off. I was wondering if I can use that other inlet as my return line?

The return should generally go above the level of fuel.

And when you say inlets....I guess you mean outlets ?

One could work ok, but wouldnt be ideal.
