Ford EV6 24lb injector in 5.3
I am at the phase in my build to start worrying about this stuff. Here is what I have:
2000 5.3 stock heads
(8) EV6 24lb Ford injectors (from a 5.4 DOHC Navigator)
LS1 intake, stock rail
TSP 224 cam (581 lift, 112LSA)
1 3/4" long tube headers 3" collector
going with a 255 walbro, vette filter/regulator.
Will the 24's be too much with the 58 PSI that the vette regulator is going to provide. If my math is good:
24lb/39PSI*58PSI=35.9 lb/hr of injector flow.
I am not able to tune it correctly yet, but wanted to know if that is going to be to far out for the computer to trim back duty cycle to maintain AFR. Going to have MAF and O2's and dont know enough about GM fuel injection theroy to make it all come together. Ford stuff.... different story.

If memory services me corrct the ford red tops which are 30-32lb @ the ford pressure and converts to 36lb @ 58psi.
So I think that the Blue top injectors(assuming that is what you have) should only be around 28-30lb or so.
