How to reove fuel pressure regulator on an ls1 plastic tank?

How to reove fuel pressure regulator on an ls1 plastic tank? Putting an ls1 plastic gas tank in my 87 IROC, I need to remove the fuel pressure regulator to get it to work with my L98, as I dont have the funds to complete my ls1 swap. I'm pretty lost, anyone wanna provide some insight?

Your question begs another...how it the heck is a ls1 vintage plastic tank going to fit into an 87 IROC? I would think no chance, but crazier things have happened.

It slips right in and uses the same straps. 3rd gen and 4th gen share the same underbody and suspension from the rear seat on back. I have one sitting in my '89 Firebird right now. Although, I'm keeping the fuel module in tact. Why remove a perfectly good regulator just to add one in somewhere else?
