Default possible clogged fuel filter???

I have a 2000 ss camaro and when i left work today my car wouldnt start. I had to rev it a little while turning the ignition to get it to start. When idiling though it drops below 1000 rpms and will shut off. Im a noob so any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

easy to change, if it is getting 'clogged' it's putting undue pressure on the fuel pump which will cause failure of the pump.
