Anybody running a fuel cooler/worth it?
I'm putting together my fuel system and considered running a trans cooler mounted along the frame rail in the -6 return line. I was hoping to counteract the heat the fuel picks up in the fuel rails and near the engine. I'm running a 255 Walbro in the tank with -8 feed and an Aeromotive regulator. Has anyone done a cooler? Opinions?

I installed a heat sink style fuel cooler on a guys car that has a huge single pump on it. No problems heating fuel so far. Keep the fuel level towards full though.
I would recommend putting you fuel regulator before the rails so the fuel doesnt have to bypass through the rails and hot engine compartment. Im doing this with twin walbros on E85.

Adding a cooler can certainly do no harm
But without some testing to see if you might actually benefit or have a problem....there isnt a lot of point ?
A lot will depend on the engine bay, how hot an environment you live in etc. Certainly a single Walbro isnt going to impart much heat to the fuel.
