Default Can you delete stock pressure regulator?

I am running an inline fuel pump with -6 line to inline fuel pressure regulator, then to the stock rails. My question is what to do with the stock regulator? Can you gut it or is there a plug? Thanks for the advice.

Could you post some pics of how you did your setup? What fuel pressure regulator did you go with?

Thanks!
