You can try some high octane, but the LT1 is susceptible to false knock from headers, roller rockers etc.

If you desensitized it & still see knock retard, it is likely false or you would at least hear the engine ping while driving.

Do you have any exhaust rattles or anything contacting the floor?
This will frequently give false knock.

everything is tight nothing bagging off the floor board or hitting steering stem and etc.. yes its desensitized by pcmforless

he said it would be a waste for a lt4 knock module.
he said dumb lucas octance booster or torco i was the other brand.

but didnt kno if the race fuel would help more

Torco is the only octane booster that I have seen actually work.

Go to Lowes or Sherwin Williams & buy a gallon of tolulene & add it to 1/4 tank of fuel.
It is 114 octane so it will boost 93 octane about 6 points to 99.

Did your tune desensitize or also limit the amount of knock retard.
Verify it actually pulls timing & how much.

don't cams of that size also contribute to false knock?
how far did he go with removing sensitivity? could he go more?
How is the AFR part throttle and WOT? what is your WOT timing?

I live in Concord, not far from Moorseville, and I know Alvin. It might just need more tweaking. trying a few gallons of 100 from some race shop would at least tell you if you can get rid of it or not.
