Default 1500fwhp with magnafuel 4303?

Considering using this set-up:

sumped tank
-10 off sump/prefiler to pump
magnafuel 4303 with -10 supply
-10 feed
-8 return

I have seen it mentioned several times that a -12 supply to the pump is ideal. This is not really feasible with my set-up. Will the way I run it support 1500fwhp with twin turbos? Would I be better off running one of their MP-4101s?

Thanks.

Answer from magnafuel is no.... it will only flow 1300fwhp in my application (50psi base pressure with 20psi of boost).

Sounds like the 4101 is for me.

I doubt it would even do that.

It should do 1500fw. Ive used one -12 fed 4303 to 1000rwhp on E85 on 45 base with 21lbs boost referenced. It was done at that point.

Do Magnafuel or any similar companies offer any flow data for such pumps ?

Quoting 2000hp is pretty meaningless when they claim that is n/a only

And a range of 20-120psi is also meaningless without flow data vs pressure.

I haven't seen flow data quoted directly from them. Pretty ridiculous and I agree with you.

If you search, I started a thread to compare the 4303 with 3 255's. Third party posted flow ratings I believe.

It seems that what they sell as a 2000hp pump, in reality for a lot of users might only be a 1200hp capable pump

they really should make things clearer.
