Injector Dynamics is the only way to go.

ID850's will do you just fine and will be there if you want room to grow.

they are about maxed out and i really dont know whether to go with some fast injector or racetronix or whoever. im looking for quality injectors for not a ton of money that are easy to tune.

Find out what size you need and call FIC. Why anyone would pay close to 1000 bucks for a modified ford injector from ID is beyond me.

or you can get a non-modified injector from FIC also, straight from Bosch.

those 42# injectors would likely not be maxed out...they are basically 50# injectors at 58psi (4bar) if you are running that fuel pressure, and you are naturally aspirated... I would think these would do you fine at that power level.

Gotta watch the injectors on the market these days... theres alot of chinese junk floating around for cheaper prices to lure you in.

If you have the bosch 36lb@3bar white pencil injectors they will flow ~41lb@4bar (ls1 pressure) and you will not max those out on a 408 NA unless you are spinning it to 8000rpm. Those injectors essentially flow very close to LS3/7 injectors and I've done some heavily modded LS7's that are running 141+mph NA at the track and making more power than your car that still runs the stock injectors (@~90% duty cycle).

If you do upgrade I would look at the Bosch 0 280 155 968. They flow close to what the old green tops flow. Brian Tooley's 454 was running the old green tops and was only upper 70's on duty cycle and that engine made 599rwhp and 705hp to the crank. They will be plenty of fuel for a 408 if you do look to upgrade.
