Default Racetronix kit 1998 poppin fuses

I have tried everything I can think of so far.
I traced the hot wire to ensure there were no discrepancies.
I tried the pump plugged with and with out the Racetronix harness. Each time it popped the 20A fuse on the corresponding system, whether it was the new hot wire or the existing fuse.

I cut an access panel to pull the assembly and verify the pump was good, which it is. I am completely lost tonite, I am going to check out the wiring tomorrow with my multimeter but would like some assistance in trouble shooting. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my 98 camaro with Raceltonix kit.

It ended up being a bad fuel pump that must of had an internal short.
I ordered a new 255 lph fuel pump from summit racing & its still working today.

You could check all of your grounds or replace your Relay but you might have a Faulty Fuel pump like i did. Good Luck !

Since I had the assembly out I tightened the ground on the fram of the sending unit, hopefully that may be it!

UPDATE:

ensured my purple wires were matching the write up a few posts down.
Tightened the ground wire.
Still popping fuses. I am picking up continuity on the fuel pump connector from the racetronix harness.

Thinking I possibly have a bad harness.
Pump is verified good.
Going to verify which spade the power is coming into hopefuly maybe my power ground is backwards

On the connector for pump power and fuel level sensor.
I get 12V on off (priming the pump) where the black ground wire is.
I get nothing on where the gray power wire is. I believe they are reversed.
I am uploading videos of this.
Should I switch the wires in the harness? I am also now concerned on which purple wire goes where on the connector. I reversed them from what I had to match the other write up.

I need to know for sure what which purple wire goes where.
