With the mods you have, I recommend a Racetronix 255lph pump kit for your car.

Dont forget to do the " Trap Door " Mod for easy Fuel pump access.
This Modification will give you easy access for future fuel pump access or maintenance.

Heres a couple of links...

340 a drop in replacement? Didn't think it was or I would have done that over the 255.

bump, ive been looking but cant find anyone that says it fits. anyone put an aeromotive 340 in the stock bucket, is it a perfect fit like the racetronix 255? im guessing part 11169 is the one needed? my racetronix is maxed out now with the hotwire kit.

I know I can call them but I'm looking for real world experience from anyone on here. Trying to see what kind of problems people ran into installing them and how well are the pumps working.

I hope you upgraded your wiring bulkhead to support the increased current draw.

The factory bulkhead is not rated for the draw of the 340lph pump & will likely burn up over time.

As for the Racetronix wiring upgrade, you should only run that pump with the upgraded harness, not a standard hot wire kit. Yes I stock the wiring kits.

PM sent for more info.

Lonnie... I have the Racetronix Harness kit with the Walbro 255 lph Fuel pump installed in my 98 Camaro.
Would the Aeromotive 340 pump plug into my Racetronix Harness & mount in place of my Walbro 255 with no modification ??

No, the wiring bulkhead in your 98 sender is not rated for the current that pump draws. This part can be upgraded on the 99 up sender, but it is not on the 98.

The hot wire kit you have does nothing to change this.

Feel free to call if you want to discuss in more detail.

I run the Aeromotive 340 on my car along with the Racetronix hotwire kit. No issues at all and plenty of fuel for the 15psi i'm running.
