Default Victor Jr How to drill to install injectors?

Title says it all. Im changing my setup, and I scored a Victor Jr Carb intake. It has boss for intake to be drilled for injectors, so what size drill bit do I need to use, and seem they need to be at a angle? Any info on installing injectors would be great. My plan is to change from the LS1 intake, install the Vic with a Elbow with a stock TB. Anyone can give info on this?

You would be a lot better off having that done by a shop with the correct equipment, or just sell it and by one drilled at the factory. If you try to drill them yourself, you will end up with a piece of scrap aluminum.

How did you figure out where to put the holes? They need to be exact so your rails will fit your injectors, right?

I know there's a special injector drill bit you can score. I just didn't want to tackle it myself thinking the angle had to be perfect. So really, how'd ya do it?

Hey i am doing the same thing you are with the elbow and TB on my Vic Jr intake but its a carb one like yours because that is what i was initially going to do but ive been doing alot more research on the whole FI thing and going that route. Can you post what you used to complete this project of yours? What size drill bit did you use and anything else it took to get the job done. Im confident i can do it my self like you did just would like to see how you did it. Thanks....

Wasnt that hard. Took a micrometer check size of injectors, knowing the O-rings will make it a tight fit. Fond the center of each pad, and took a 5/8 socket lay it flush on the pad used a small bit to start drilling thru the center of the 5/8 socket. Found a bit the right size, after three smaller sizes to cut slow.Im using after market rails, I just used the old truck rails to check the fit.
