fuel smell every time after gassing up my 2002 vette I get a strong smell of gas untill I go a few miles or so.I bougth it from a chevy dealer a few months ago & they checked it out & told me they couldnt find any leaks I not sure they even tested it or what because it was only a 30 day warranty., I just replaced the gas cap but that didnt help. any one have an idea about this problem?thanks COPPER1

Not sure how the filler neck attaches. But if there is a rubber coupler somewhere on the filler neck maybe it has a small crack in it.
Do you only smell it after a fill-up?

I only get the fuel smell after gasing up, it goes away after I drive about 30 to 40 miles. thanks copper1
