Default electronic Fuel Pressure gauge WRONG

It's reading too high. The sender is directly tapped into the fuel line. As the pressure changes, as does the resistance (ohm value) between the terminals. One terminal goes to ground, the other to the gauge. There is a good ground connection. The electric gauge reads 72 psi while the mechanical gauge reads 57. I've swapped the locations of the mechanical gauge and sender. The result was the same. I've tested the mechanical against other mechanicals and they were in agreement. I've changed out the sender 3 times. Each had a slightly different result, but still high.

So, is there a way to make the electric one read lower by putting a resister inline somewhere or something like that?

What elec sender R U using?
I've tested several Autometers for a local shop. Of the last 3, 2 were totally whacked.NIB units.
However, I use an Autometer on my 55 system...Dead on W/ my certified mech gauge.
