Default 99+ plastic tank in a 98 body

I know a few of yall have done this swap, what did yall rig up to bolt the filler neck to keep it in place. The 98 body does not have the bolt bracket for the rubber 99+ filler neck because the 98 tank was all one piece and metal.

Looking for suggestions. It somewhat stays in place right now but would prefer it to be more secure.

Cut the filler tube and just connect the rubber hose to it

I took the whole tank and filler tube from the 99. the 98 metal one is literally a single unit with just a metal pipe that sticks out into the gas cap compartment

Default 99+swap

Are there any issues with the wiring or the dash fuel gauge readings?
