simple, quick question about aeromotive
I know aeromotive recommends mounting the fuel pressure reg. Between the fuel rails but due to little space, I was curious if i can mount the y block directly to the outlet port of the fuel prs. Reg as pictured, then from the slpitter into the fuel rails for ls1. Ahouldnt cause any issues, right?

It's not ideal because your dead-heading the fuel rails. But it should work in essence. Are you just running a line between the rails on the other end? effectively making a regulator y=I

No. I would ideally be installing a plug on both front ends of the rails, although connecting them wouldn't be out of the question. A second upside would be saving money by not having to purchase extra braided steel hose and two billet fittings roughly saving me about $70

I may have misread your question, the 2 front ports of the rail will be blocked off, o. The rear side of the regulator a fuel line from the two outlets of the y block going into the fuel rail.
